7 Free Tips about Blogging and Pinging - from Free Blogging Advice Guidelines project

Blogging and Pinging
Fit Each other like Hand and Glove
When It Comes to the Success of your Blog
For Money, Profit and/or Hobby.

We find it very useful to give you these 7 very simple and practical tips about pinging that are very easy to keep up to:

1. Good, quality ping list.

This is very important for successful blogging. Many ping lists have drawbacks - a huge bunch of the services changed address, URLs don't work. This is the example when smaller + better wins over more + worse quality: the submission to just 10 quality ping lists is already great. But if you can improve the number of your ping list with no loss to quality - do that.

2. Check your ping reports.

This is useful when you track what of the ping services in your list you have problems with. If you do not get "successful ping message" - something must be wrong. There is always something changing on this market, ping URLs as well. So, take it as just a boost into your successful blogging.

3. Post/Ping daily.

Some blogging experts report from their activity, and proven by the success of this blog for Free Blogging Advice Guidelines project, daily pinging at the beginning of blog promo - one of the keys to successful development, faster and deeper indexing by search engines and other advantages that enhance the authority of your blog in the net.

4. Check how your posts are spread.

It is both interesting and important to check how the posts from your blogs via RSS services, article and press release services are spread in the net. Who sees them first and when - Google, Yahoo, MSN or other? If the post is quality one, within a matter of a week you will see very nice citation of your post on the revelant sites and simple blogs of the Internet. This is normal.

If you don't see the content spread for a long time after the blog launch - time to dig into. Maybe the pings are not working, check the reports. Try contact the blog platform provider if you are using a paid version where support is by default.

5. Don't spam with pinging.

No one accusses you of spamming. But sometimes good intentions can turn bad when overused. For example, if you click Save or Publish one and the same post a huge amount of times, this can be accepted by some ping services as attempt of spam.

We do not say they will surely do that as do not represent these services in any way. But it is possible.

6. Don't overuse Save and Continue Editing button clicking.

This is one of the issues that comes into dispute during the next interview from Free Blogging Advice Guidelines project with Pawan Agrawal. It is being testing right now and seems to be dangerious to overusing the clicks on Save and Continue Editing button. This can also be taken as an attempt of spam by ping services.

The issue is not completely sorted out to give away any official results. But you can learn more from the upcoming interview. And you can send questions for it to questions@b-l-o-g-g-e-r.com

 7. How to keep your feedlist updated almost automatically for free…

… and with a very small amount of time spent on it. This is very simple and effective. You just search Google or other search engine for "seo forum" or "seo chat", join them (most of them are free), and ask for help about ping list. If you do everything by the rules of the forums, they will surely help you and give a link or two to some nice ping list. This is a nice start. Then just check the ping reports and kick off what is useless and does not work.

P.S. If you wish to send your questions for the next interview with Pawan Agrawal from MaxBlogPress.com and Free Blogging Advice Guidelines project or other upcoming interviews with experts about blogging for profit, money and/or hobby - sign up the "Ask A Guru" newsletter in the top right column of the site to keep updated on the interviews and your questions asked.
