Free Blogging 101 - Reclaim Your Stolen Content

Your Blog Content Stolen?

Read How You Can
Reclaim Your Stolen Blog Content.

Usually after you found the stolen content, the first step is to try reaching the owner of the site or blog that has stolen the content and do at least one attempt to handle this issue. In most of the cases this first step is not helping (those who are stealing your content without prodiving any backlinks to your sites know that they did a bad job and are not likely to change their mind).

Still, this first step of trying to contact the site or blog owner is important as you will have proofs you tried your best.

If this step did not help - do not lose time and contact the hosts of this site or blog. This is a truly helpful tip to punish the content stealer. Hosts do not want to have problems and be in any case "affiliated" with those who use content with the law breach.

This template of a successful email (generously provided by Linda Jenkinson from Older-Space.com) has proven to give effective results. Please, take into the account that the template below is not some official form to submit complaints and reclaim stolen content. This is just a message that helped Linda and might help you for the same situations. Make sure that you modify this message to fit your current situation.
